This position is responsible for set-up and operating of HAAS 2 Axis Lathes and Omni Turn CNCs.

Responsible for the proper use of all measuring tools and devices used in inspections of all components. Works under general supervision.

Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:

• Working knowledge of ISO quality Regulations & procedures

• Responsible for set-up and operation of machines listed above in compliance with inch and metric drawing specifications

• Possess the ability to set up and operate, lathes and other secondary equipment

• Thorough understanding of blueprint reading

• Works independently and inspects work to the specified standards on the drawings

• General housekeeping in the work area which includes preventative maintenance on the machines

• Perform other duties as required to ensure efficient operation of the shop

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position is a plus

 

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent or equivalent work experience

• CNC Certification or CNC Trade School a major plus

• CNC Lathe Programming knowledge is required

 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of medical products a plus

• Strong sense of ownership and work ethic

• Good communication skills
